Retirement Planning

Fee-For-Service Retirement Planning

Clear advice. No product sales. No commissions.

This service is for people who want financial advice, a clear plan, and help making better decisions with their money.

I do not sell investments or insurance through this service. The focus is planning, education, and helping you understand your options in plain language.

You will receive a personalized plan based on your goals, your accounts, your retirement income, your taxes, and the decisions you need to make.

Option 1: Individual Retirement Plan

$3,000

For individuals who want a clear retirement and estate plan.

This plan includes:

  • A cash flow plan showing where your income may come from in retirement
  • Guidance on when to take CPP and OAS
  • RRSP, TFSA, RRIF, LIRA, and non-registered account planning
  • Tax planning before and during retirement
  • A plan for how to draw income in a tax-efficient way
  • Estate planning review and potential tax issues at death
  • Defined benefit pension review, including whether to keep or commute your pension
  • A spending plan built around the go-go, slow-go, and no-go stages of retirement
  • 3 months of support after the plan is delivered
  • Discounted rates for future plan updates

Option 2: Household Retirement Plan

$3,500

For couples or households who want one clear retirement and estate plan. This plan includes everything in the Individual Retirement Plan, plus:

Everything in the Individual Retirement Plan, plus...

  • Spousal income splitting strategies
  • Coordinated withdrawals from both spouses’ accounts
  • CPP and OAS timing for both spouses
  • Household RRSP meltdown and retirement income strategies
  • Planning for what happens if one spouse passes away early
  • Tax planning to help balance income between spouses
  • A household retirement income plan that brings both people’s finances together

Option 3: Corporate Retirement Plan

$5,000

For Canadians who own a corporation or more complex assets.

This plan includes everything in the Household Retirement Plan, plus advanced planning for corporate situations:

  • Corporate tax and income planning
  • Dividend and salary planning
  • Retained earnings and investment planning inside the corporation
  • Capital Dividend Account planning
  • Planning for the sale of a business or major asset
  • Moving money from the corporation to personal accounts in a tax-efficient way

Option 4: Hourly Rate Retirement Planning

$300/hr

Not everyone needs a full financial plan. Sometimes you just need help with one specific decision, question, or project.

My hourly planning service is for people who want clear, practical advice without committing to a comprehensive planning process. We focus on the issue in front of you, review your options, and help you understand the pros and cons so you can make a more confident decision.

This can include things like:

  • Budget and cash flow planning
  • CPP and OAS timing decisions
  • RRSP, TFSA, or non-registered account questions
  • Retirement income withdrawal strategies
  • Pension decision support
  • Severance or layoff planning
  • Debt repayment planning
  • Second opinion on an investment or insurance recommendation
  • Preparing financially for a major life change
  • Helping organize scattered financial accounts

This service is best suited for people who want targeted advice on a specific topic rather than a full retirement or financial plan.

The goal is simple: to bring clarity to your situation, explain your options in plain language, and help you make informed financial decisions.
